Weekend :)
This weekend has been different from our usual routine.
Yesterday (Saturday), I did some work before we had to head off to pick up Polyhex’s parents and Threelight who were coming back from Spain.
We went for a short walk in Wythenshawe Park before heading off to the airport. We timed our arrival nicely as they were just leaving the airport terminal – yay! Spent the rest of the day at their house and then headed back home.
Today (Sunday), we got up rather early and headed out to Monkey Forest which is about an hour’s drive away. We saw lots of monkeys and got some well needed fresh air and sunlight.
I was going to work Sunday, but decided I really need to make most of the sunlight. In fact, I think we need to get out more to be honest – we have National Trust membership and we only really got our monies’ worth last year because we went to Somerset, but even then there are so many more places we can see. And then of course there’s the geocaching. I can still get some work in though – I like to do some work at the weekend hehe!
