Twilight New Moon and Eclipse
Since we have the Unlimited cards for Cineworld we decided to see Eclipse. Only thing was that we had not seen New Moon so Saturday morning we purchased it in HD from Virgin.
We didn’t see the original Twilight at the cinema because frankly I didn’t fancy it and I don’t think Polyhex was that keen either. But we saw it when it came on Sky and I have to admit I was quite impressed.
Anyway, New Moon – rather good me thought. It’s hard to say if it is as good as the first but to be honest it just continues on the story so all the Twilights are “samey”.
Eclipse moves somewhat slower but is still good. I have to admit that on reflection I have enjoyed the movies, especially the interaction between the characters, so much so that I have bought all the books.
Taken as a unique view of werewolves and vampires it all makes for a very good story.
And there is no denying that these are all chick flicks – but I think that is pretty obvious really. They are perhaps more romance than “horror” – but an intriguing romance all the same.
